| Message: Oh the pang in my heart when I read of Dirk's passing. Somehow I always thought he would win the fight. So much life in him. His artwork and poetry was exquisite and I find myself truly missing him even though I never knew him outside of his typed words and images. A testament to the power he could put forth. | Message: Hi Dirk, I rember you from the IW list. We have two wolfhounds and one part wolfhound rescue, my personal heart hound has lymphoma we just found out three weeks ago and he is getting treatment. They say with this treatment, he can look forward to almost a year of the good life. I also have cancer, bone cancer, almost 4 years now. Knock on wood, but we hopefully are keeping it in remission.
